Invest in brighter futures for students and families often overlooked and forgotten.

Together, we can end the cycle of poverty in Cambridge.

Since 1984, The Work Force Youth Program has helped youth living in Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) properties to forge their own path to success by providing comprehensive educational enrichment, college prep, and work-readiness supports from the 6th grade through each participant’s post-secondary education. Nearly 90% of our graduates go on to college, close to 75% complete their degree within 5-years, and almost two-thirds no longer live in subsidized housing six-years after completing high school. Our deep investment positions our students to attain the foundational assets they need to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

The Work Force is supported by small individual donations, foundation grants, and a broad range of public funds, including contributions from the CHA. Seeded with a gift from a private donor, this endowed fund was established to create a sustained source of funding for the Work Force for years to come. Your gift to the fund will help us to grow the endowment and ensure that more Work Force participants can reach their personal and professional goals.

Join us! Together we can leverage the power of collective giving and provide pathways to success for our youth. For more information about Work Force and other CHA Resident Services programs, please visit our website. Thank you for your contribution.
