Starting on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2021, the Cambridge Youth Council (CYC) and the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Black Student Union (BSU) are raising money for Cambridge organizations working in the community in these challenging times. As the pandemic continues, these organizations are addressing needs on the ground and inspiring us with their steadfast commitment to the community. Our goal is to raise $12,000 in community contributions by Sunday, February 14th. Every dollar up to the $12,000 goal will be matched by the Cambridge Community Foundation, Cambridge's local giving platform.

Funds collected will be equally distributed among the following organizations:

  • Agassiz Baldwin Community
  • Cambridge Community Center
  • Cambridge Economic Opportunity Inc.
  • Community Art Center
  • Community For Us, By Us
  • East End House
  • Food for Free
  • Loaves and Fishes
  • Margaret Fuller House
  • YMCA
  • Y2Y-Harvard Square
  • Just added: The Spot

The Cambridge Community Foundation is honored to play a role in supporting these young leaders in our community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Michal Rubin, VP of Development at: mrubin@Cambridgecf.org.
